Customers travelling to this year’s Download Festival urged to plan ahead and travel light
Engineering work will affect services on routes to and from London St Pancras International over the festival weekend.
Customers reminded to pack only what they can comfortably carry and should not attempt to board with wheelie bins full of alcohol or luggage trolleys
Customers returning from the festival will be able to use boot cleaning brushes provided at stations to help remove mud before boarding trains.

Guarantee your place to Skegness: Customers urged to book ahead

Customers should book in advance to guarantee their space to the seaside.
Customers who do not book may not be able to board their preferred service.
Queuing systems will be in place at Nottingham and Skegness, however customers with pre-booked tickets will be able to join the fast track queue.
Customers reminded to pack as light as possible - with the recommendation being one bag per person.

The works will take place over five weeks starting from Monday, 18 May
Walking route from Platform 2 takes five minutes and customers are advised to leave extra time to catch their preferred service
Improvements include car park resurfacing, re-lining of parking spaces, new lighting, CCTV, an expanded cycle shelter and updated signage
