EMR continues to advise customers to only travel if essential as hot weather impacts services

Some regional services will be withdrawn to help increase resilience across the network.
EMR is working closely with Network Rail to monitor conditions and keep services running safely.

Recovery and repair work at the site of the Bedford train collision has now been fully completed, with passenger services on the Midland Main Line set to resume on Monday 29 June.
Passengers travelling today (Friday 26 June) are also reminded that a Met Office red weather warning for extreme heat is in force across a large part of England, and should only travel today if absolutely necessary.
