- No EMR services on Wednesday, October 4, due to industrial action
- Services also affected by overtime ban from Monday, October 2 to Friday, October 6

- Train company to offer customers free sanitary products to customers
- Customers can use the phrase ‘Package for Sandy’ at the supervisor’s office, to be given a pack discreetly.
- Sanitary products are all carbon-neutral and designed to reduce plastic waste

Rail strike reminder: EMR services significantly reduced for next two Saturdays and no services on Friday, September 1
- Members from the RMT Union will strike on Saturday, 26 August and Saturday, 2 September
- Trains will only run between 06:30 - 18:30 - with last departures starting between 15:00 and 16:30
- Customers are being advised to travel by rail only if absolutely necessary during strike action
- Due to a number of big events including, Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest and Manchester Pride, services during the Bank Holiday Weekend are likely to be very busy
- No services will run on Friday, September 1

Rail strikes: EMR services significantly reduced on 20 and 22 July
- On Thursday, 20 July and Saturday, 22 July, many of EMR's routes will be reduced to one train an hour
- Trains will only run between 07:30 - 18:30 - with last departures starting between 15:00 and 16:30
- Between Monday, 17 July, and Saturday, 22 July, there will also be a number of train cancellations due to action short of a strike by the ASLEF union - this could be as late as 22:00 the day before customers travel
- Customers are being advised to travel by rail only if absolutely necessary

- No services on Wednesday, 31 May and Saturday, 3 June
- Services will be significantly reduced on Friday, 2 June and majority trains will only run between 0730 - 1830
- On Friday, 2 June, intercity trains will start from Derby, rather than Sheffield due to engineering works
- Customers are being advised to travel if only absolutely necessary and understand how return trip is affected

- From Monday, 15 May until, and including, Saturday, 20 May, ASLEF has withdrawn non-contractual overtime
- EMR expects to run its normal timetable
- However, trains may be subject to short notice alterations and cancellations.
